Rolex Submariner - history of a divning legend

The iconic Rolex Submariner that has been around since 1953 and hardly changed over time. I adore my sublime Rolex Green Submariner ref. 116610LV, also known as the Hulk. It is a watch that is timless and a classic that never goes out of style. It is constant and adored among many. But the story does not start with the Hulk, it grinds from 1953 with ref. 6204 and stil by the blink of an eye shows it true consistancy of Submariner as it is today. The Rolex submariner is one of the most iconic watches created. As Rolex's first professional diving watch it has endured through time. From French explorer Jacques Cousteau to James Bond, it is a cult classic and the ref 6204 is the first submariner, the genesis of Rolex's most popular diving watch. My first vintage Rolex

I thought of it and of course it should be my very first vintage Rolex watch; the Rolex Explorer II 16570 aka "Black Cave". My Rolex dates back to 1994 and purchased at Rolex hometown in Geneva, Switzerland. I love this piece and cannot stop having it on my wrist. It is smooth and feels very comfortable, the movement is superb and has never been wrong. Amazingly the watch was serviced for the first time last year with very little complications and restoration costs, which amazes me with its mint condition since it is 24 years old.
